House Rules for Group Breaks

What is a Group Break?

A group break is where people share a box or case of cards by dividing up the product by team, player or some other method.

 

How do I join a break?

Visit OUR E-commerce store and choose the box that interests you, grab a spot in a random team break!

When does my break happen?

Break will Happen after they Sell Out up to 30 days. After 30 Days I will refund or break them.

When does your breaks start?

Live Stream on YouTube at Triple B Collectibles are scheduled on different days a week, Wednesday 6pm - 9pm, (Special: Thursday 6pm-9pm) Friday 6pm - 12am, and on Sunday 12pm - 4pm CT.

note: this schedule is a work in progress and is subject to change without notice!

We will also spontaneously pop on other days as breaks fill.

If we are live and more than one break fills we will do them in the order they filled.

I will not stay more than 30 minutes past our break schedule time.

This means if we get some movement than I will make the call to stay or go! 

 

When do I get my cards?

Cards are sorted and will be sleeved, top loaded within 5-9 business days of the break.

Canada Customers we Ship every 2 Weeks on a Friday from the date it was opened.

*Please note due to top loader and sleeves shortage we only sleeve and top-load Autographs, Serial numbers and relics.

What cards do I get?

- All hits, jerseys, patches, autographs, rookies, inserts and #d cards that come out for your team will be shipped to you. Base or common cards are subject to each break rules in the listing.

Where can I watch the break and where do I see what teams I have?

Please be sure to head over to our website (Triplebcollectibles.com) and we have to buttons on the top of the page for our YouTube live and Breakers.tv We also have a scroll on the bottom of the screen with everyone’s names and teams running during the break.

I missed the live break, how can I watch it?

All breaks are uploaded at the end of the day and can be viewed on our YouTube Channel @ Triple B Collectibles.

Types of breaks

These are the standard formats and rules that we use for our group breaks. (Pick Your Team), (Random Team), (Divisional Breaks) (Serial Numbers) & (Hit Draft).

Divisional Breaks:
Instead of selling team spots, dealers sell by division. This style is popular in football. For example, a collector can buy a slot for the NFC East or AFC West.

Serial ##/## Breaks and Jersey Number:

Serial Number break 0 to 9

Buyers will buy a spot for the break. We will then take those slots and randomize them on random.org

We will then take all serial #'s and randomize them on random.org

We will match the name and the number up and this will be your match.

Below is a table of what number get what cards

Serial #1 (1/1, 11, 21 ,31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91)

Serial #2 (2, 12, 22 ,32, 42, 52, 62, 72, 82, 92)

Serial #3 (3, 13, 23 ,33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83, 93)

Serial #4 (4, 14, 24 ,34, 44, 54, 64, 74, 84, 94)

Serial #5 (5, 15, 25 ,35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95)

Serial #6 (6, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, 86, 96)

Serial #7 (7, 17, 27, 37, 47, 57, 67, 77, 87, 97)

Serial #8 (8, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78, 88, 98)

Serial #9 (9, 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, 89, 99)

For example, a card numbered 5/10 would go to 5, 23/50 would go to 3, and 10/10 would go to 0.

For any redemption, we will look up what the card is numbered out of and randomize between the associated parties. If we pull a NON ## card then all customers would be eligible to win that card.

 

NEW: Jersey numbers we will look at the front of the player card and find his/her jersey number. If we are unable to locate this number, than we will look at sports reference for the page, or search google!

Random Team Group Break Rules

• After all spots are full for the break, names and teams are entered into a list randomizer

• We then go to Random.org and select “dice roller” and roll 2 dice.

• If “dice roller” is 3 or less we roll again until we hit 4 or higher.

• We then go to the “team names” list randomizer with the result of the first dice roll and randomizer that list.

• We than go back to the “dice roller” and roll for the next list “your names”

• If “dice roll” is 3 or less we roll again until we hit 4 or higher.

• We then go to “your names” list randomizer with the result of the Second dice roll and randomizer that list.

•  Once both lists have been randomized, the lists are copied onto a spreadsheet and matched by number.

• Your name will be on the right column and your team will be on the left column.

• All hits, jerseys, patches, autographs, rookies, inserts and #d cards that come out for your team will be shipped to you.

 

Other Group Break Rules

• During the hosted breaks, there will be 1minute of time to trade teams among each other. If there are any trades

• Trades must be confirmed to the group break host via the Chat box

• When a card is pulled that has multiple players on it, it gets randomized at the end of the break between the teams on the card that are in the break. 

• NEW: Each customers name will be use 4 times, this means if only 2 customers are going at the random card i will copy your names 3 more time into random.org for a total of 4 times.

• If a card is pulled that is from a past team that card will go to the current team.

• If a card is pulled from a Defunct and moved team Like the Winnipeg Jets (PRE 1996) go to Winnipeg Jets, Atlanta Thrashers go to Winnipeg jets (EST.2011) 

• All breaks are archived on our website and YouTube so they may be viewed at a later date.

• Triple B Collectibles reserves the right to expel and if need be, ban an individual from the site. No foul language, harassment or bullying of anyone in the live chat will be tolerated at any time. In order to make the process a pleasant one for all, please use good judgment and abide by the rules.

• NEW RULE:

• 01/23/2020

• IF A SINGLE PLAYER IS PULLED AND THEY DID NOT PLAY IN OR FOR THAT MAJOR LEAGUE TEAM. EXAMPLE: IF A FOOTBALL AUTO FROM A FOOTBALL GROUP BREAK WAS PULLED AND THE PLAYER ON THE FOOTBALL PLAYED FOR THE HOUSTON ASTROS IN THE MLB, THIS ITEM WOULD NOT GO TO THE TEAM IN THE FOOTBALL GROUP BREAK, BUT THIS ITEM WOULD BE RANDOMIZED AT RANDOM.ORG. TO ALL CUSTOMERS IN THE GROUP BREAK.

• HOW THIS WOULD WORK, I WILL ROLL THE TWO VIRTUAL DICE, I WILL ADD UP THE NUMBER AND THEN ROLL THE CUSTOMER LIST THAT AMOUNT OF TIMES ON THE DICE. TOP SPOT WOULD WIN THE ITEM.

• IF A MULTI PLAYER CARD IS PULLED THEY WILL BE RANDOMIZED ON RANDOM.ORG, WITH THE OWNER GOING TO THE TOP NAME AFTER THE RANDOMIZATION, UNLESS SOMEONE OWNS MORE THAN 50% OF THE CARD. IF A PLAYER HAS BEEN TRADED, RETIRED, OR SIGNED BY ANOTHER TEAM OR A COLLEGE LOGO IT WILL GO TO THE TEAM IN WHICH THE PLAYER PLAYED FOR THE YEAR THE CARD WAS/IS MANUFACTURED. FOR RETIRED PLAYERS WITH NO LOGO, IT WILL GO TO THE TEAM WITH THE LONGEST TENURE.

• We do reserve the right to look up any player/players to see who and when they played for in any major league sport or minor league sport. If we find that the said player/players did not play in the major/minor league sports of said group break, then the following rules apply from above.
